 Producing green hydrogen from wind and solar power: Used for the scenarios of green hydrogen produced from large-scale wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation and wind-solar complementary power generation projects to reduce the curtailment of green power.

Principles of PEM water electrolysis for hydrogen production:

PEM water electrolysis for hydrogen production refers to the proton exchange membrane water electrolysis for hydrogen production, of which the process involves a proton exchange membrane as a solid electrolyte and pure water as the raw material for hydrogen production from water electrolysis. Compared with the alkaline water electrolysis technology for hydrogen production, PEM water electrolysis technology for hydrogen production is superior for its large current density, high purity of hydrogen, and fast response speed.

Hydrogen refueling equipment service program

1. Warranty

1.1 Quality standards and requirements

  • The equipment, materials and outsourcing kits should meet the relevant specification requirements and national standards.
  • The performance of the equipment should meet the parameters in the technical specifications and the standard specifications for manufacturing, testing and acceptance.

1.2 Warranty period

  • The warranty should expire 1 year after acceptance.
  • During the warranty period, we are committed to free repair of any faults and damages that are caused by man-made errors, and free replacement of failed parts.

 

2. On-site and after-sales services

2.1 Response and service time

  • During the warranty period, we are committed to response within 2 hours, and sending qualified engineers and technicians to the site for inspection and maintenance within 24 hours.

2.2 Engineering design and civil construction

  • Conducting technical disclosure with equipment manufacturers and design institutes, and supporting the completion of the equipment construction design drawings.
  • During the civil construction stage, we are committed to sending engineers and technicians to the site to ensure that the construction is carried out in accordance with the technical requirements and design drawings.

2.3 Delivery, installation and completion acceptance of equipment

  • Guiding the hoisting and positioning of the equipment, and supporting the users in the preliminary acceptance.
  • Providing relevant technical support and communication, including installation requirements and electrical instructions for on-site equipment interfaces.

During the completion and acceptance, we are committed to providing commissioning plans and schedules, carrying out system commissioning, and preparing commissioning and acceptance reports.

The SANY Hydrogen Energy Beijing R&D Testing Center, established in August 2022 and fully operational since April 2023, spans an area of approximately 500 square meters, representing a substantial investment totaling nearly RMB 6 million yuan.Aligned with the objective of advancing the high-quality development of hydrogen energy equipment, the Center is dedicated to pioneering the development of core technologies for hydrogen production via water electrolysis. Furthermore, it lends vital support to the creation of cutting-edge, high-performance, and durable electrolyzer products under the umbrella of SANY Hydrogen Energy.

Bolstered by a formidable team of senior industry experts and a dedicated cadre of full-time researchers holding doctoral and master's degrees, the Center boasts formidable R&D capabilities. Notably, it houses two industry-leading development and testing platforms tailored for core components-such as electrodes and membrane materials-used in AWE and PEM hydrogen production equipment.

Equipped with an array of advanced instruments and equipment for R&D, testing, and small-batch trial production, the platforms facilitate seamless progression from component development to system testing, scale-up, small-batch trial production, and collaborative emulation. This comprehensive suite includes an industry-leading self-developed testing platform for electrodes/membranes, PEM test bench, hot press, ICP-OES, fluorescence spectrum analyzer, electrochemical workstation, small-scale electrolyzers, plasma spraying apparatus, sandblasting equipment, and more.

Recognizing the challenges posed by the absence of relevant testing standards and the variability of conventional testing methods, the Center has taken proactive measures. It has independently designed and developed the industry's sole testing platform for critical parts such as electrodes and membranes. This innovative solution addresses complex testing issues and fluctuations in results, ensuring a multi-dimensional assessment of core component performance and facilitating their continued advancement and stability.
