- We have selected electrodes with high activity and high stability in the industry to ensure low energy consumption and durable service life of the electrolyzer;

- Based on the electrochemical emulation model, we have adopted DOE methodology to analyze the uniformity of the flow/temperature field of the electrolyzer and guide the optimization of the electrolyzer structure;
- We have built the world's largest equipment testing platform that is capable of tests for one 3-2000 Nm3/h single electrolyzer and one hydrogen production system made up of 4×1000 Nm3/h electrolyzer, which can provide data support for rapid verification and iterative upgrading of multiple models of electrolyzers, BOP and auxiliary equipment;
- Relying on the manufacturing system of SANY, we implement high-standard control over the plate manufacturing process and develop high-precision electrolyzer assembly processes to improve product quality;

- DC power consumption ≤4.3 kWh/Nm3, comprehensive power consumption ≤4.9 kWh/Nm3
3. High current density
- We use Raney nickel electrodes, which enable an increase in the current density by 20%;
- Renewable energy is greatly adaptable to fluctuations;
- Through automatic adjustment of operating parameters, the product is more adaptable to the fluctuation features of renewable energy. The product power can be adjusted within the range of 30~120%;
- Short duration of a cold start;
- The independently developed alkaline heating circulation system enables an decrease in the duration of the cold start by 50%;
- Highly intelligent;
- We keep working on the digital and intelligent upgrading of products to start a new model of intelligent operation and maintenance at the application end.
Technical specifications and performance
1. High hydrogen production capacity
The hydrogen production capacity of this AWE hydrogen production equipment is 1000 Nm³/h, which can not only meet the needs of large-scale industrial production, but also provide solid support for the extensive applications of clean energy.
2. Low power consumption design
The DC power consumption of this AWE hydrogen production equipment is maintained at ≤4.3 kWh/Nm³, which helps reduce energy consumption and lower production costs, meeting the concept of sustainable development.
3. Hydrogen purity guarantee
The purity of hydrogen is more than 99.8% before purification, and elevated to more than 99.999% after purification, exceeding the industrial standard, so that the hydrogen produced by the equipment can be used safely and reliably in applications with higher requirements, such as fuel cells.
4. Stable working parameters
- Working pressure: The working pressure is designated at 1.8 MPa to ensure that the equipment can operate reliably in different scenarios.
- Working temperature: At the working temperature of 90±5℃, this AWE hydrogen production equipment is outstanding with respect to stability and adaptability.
5. Wide power fluctuation range:
The wide power fluctuation range of 30-120% allows the AWE hydrogen production equipment to run efficiently even under great fluctuations in the power system.

Wins a Bid for World's Largest Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Integration Project
In mid-April, SANY Hydrogen Energy won a bid for 8 sets of 1000 Nm³/h equipment of hydrogen production by water electrolysis of the Jilin Da'an Wind and Solar Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project.
