Safety precautions for tank shutdown operations

(1) After confirming the stop of the tank, the necessary tools for tank stop should be prepared in time, and items that come into contact with high-temperature melt should be preheated in advance.
(2) When sucking out the electrolyte and aluminum liquid, a dedicated person must be responsible for lowering the anode. It is strictly forbidden to separate the anode from the electrolyte. It is strictly forbidden to lower the anode to the bottom and damage the upper busbar lifting mechanism.
(3) After a power outage, the insulation board must be taken out of the short-circuit junction, cleaned with breeze to ensure the cleanliness of the short-circuit road surface, and the bolts must be tightened
(4) After tightening the bolts, check the temperature of the short-circuit junction. If the temperature of the short-circuit junction exceeds 100°C, handle it to prevent the temperature from rising too fast and melting the short-circuit junction.
(5) When a leak breaks out, on the one hand, send people to lower the anode, and on the other hand, notify the rectifier station of a power outage. It is strictly forbidden to separate the anode from the electrolyte to prevent explosion and affect the entire series.
(6) On the other hand, find the location of the leaking furnace in a timely manner and send a crane or manpower to plug the leak. On one hand, use a baffle to block the busbar to prevent the busbar from being damaged. On the other hand, direct the crane or manpower to block the leaking aluminum channel. If it cannot be blocked, , promptly extract the aluminum water and electrolyte
(7) The extracted molten aluminum is sent to the casting in time
(8) Strictly prevent the aluminum water or electrolyte leaking into the trench from burning the cables and wires in the trench to prevent fire incidents. Prepare a fire extinguisher and it is strictly forbidden to use water to extinguish the fire.
(9) Leak plugging personnel must wear complete labor protection to avoid burn accidents
(10) After the tank stop operation is completed, put away the tools as required. Clean the site, inspect the tank and its surroundings, and make various records.
